I started playing guitar at the age of 14, and almost immediately began modifying my guitars. From replacing tremolo systems, to upgrading pickups and even scalloping fret boards, I wasn't afraid to try anything to improve my guitars, but more importantly, personalize them in a way that made them my instruments. 

Over the next 15 years I developed my skills as a luthier, moving beyond set-ups and repairs and into the world of building guitars from the ground up. It was through this growth, and through my years of experience as a machinist, that I decided to move forward in pursuing my dreams; to become a full-time luthier with my own custom guitar business.

In 2019 I officially launched Meinzinger Guitars, and immediately began delivering top end guitars to local musicians and friends. I moved into a workshop of my own and began investing more into my tools and machinery. I continued to learn and grow, developing my own designs and unique style of lutherie. 

 

 Today I am offering the best instruments I can build to musicians, opting to use the best materials and hardware available. I am constantly working on new ideas to incorporate into new designs.
